Our stay was such a lovely retreat – really loved the design style, the friendly people working in the lounge area and the self-check-in was amazing! We stayed for a weekend and it was the perfect jumping off place for exploring Salzburg, with a lovely walking path into town or short wander to get to Mirabell gardens early in the morning. Absolute highlight though has to be the breakfast buffet – all homemade, locally sourced and delicious, so clearly made with care and love! Our room was spacious and overall definitely recommend for people who appreciate attention to detail, eco-conscious materials and design and are looking for a lovely chill vibe place to spend some time in Salzburg. Highly recommend!’
The Keep is a LOVELY hostel, very very stylish and clean. The woman working in the café/bar at the main entrance was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a private shower, but the toilet was shared (we didn’t mind this!). The breakfast in the café in the morning was my favourite part! The hostel is very close to Old Town – as most of Salzburg is walking distance 100% reconnect the Keep.
Indeed, very eco-friendly. Instagrammable, hassle free upon checking in and accessible to all the tourist spots! Definitely worth the stay!!!
One of the coolest places we got to stay on our Europe trip! I usually don’t stay in hostel but was really intrigued by the concept and style of the Keep Residence and decided to try it out – and I was not disappointed. It looks exactly as in the pictures, but you can really feel the charm and thought that went into the place when you’re there. Check-in is super easy – everything is electronic, including your room keys, and the host was kind and helpful. The room is stylish and comfortable, and we really appreciated the large, modern showerhead. The shared amenities are also modern and clean. There is also a wonderful breakfast spread provided (a pay-as-you-feel system). I think the only down was they have no double bed rooms, so sharing a bed on a single (It was a bunk bed) with my partner was a tight fit, but it was fine especially considering how much we enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend 🙂
This is by fast the best Airbnb I’ve been too. Blew my expectations away, a very clean and well organised hotel. And the room was perfect and the pay-as-you-feel is a lovely method. The food was delicious, both simple and authentic but amazing nevertheless. The host were both knowledgeable of the area and extremely friendly, and they spoke fluent English! A must recommend place, the best deal extremely affordable and a decent walk to everything downtown…Fantastic stay!
The Keep is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! It’s very quaint and the touches within the room are very homely. I love how everything is eco-friendly and the food was organic and local that was available in the lounge. For anyone coming through Salzburg, I would recommend staying here to everyone. Thank you so much! This was an awesome place to stay! -Richard-
Rustic style with eclectic interior, combined with high-tech doors. The “self-check-in” is very convenient, there is an elevator in the building, and the breakfast is like heaven! Parking on-street is available (parking fee Mon-Fri 09-19, Sat 09-16, 1,5 Euro/Hr also works with MasterCard) and although there’s no reception, there is always someone to ask, and also the response time is pretty fast 😉 All in all: highly recommended for backpackers! -Gyula-
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The environment is comfortable and inviting. The location is ideal for access to the Old Town. I highly recommend free-spirited travellers to stay here. I plan to return!
- The way they run the place is very inspiring. I loved all of it – the room was clean, very pretty, cosy, with thoughtful details, mattress and linens were excellent (I slept like a baby), toilets and showers clean and the breakfast very tasty and nourishing. The whole hostel was pleasantly quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. Check-in without problems. I would certainly come again!
I spent 4 nights at the Keep Eco in Salzburg, I had a private room which had everything I needed. Showers/bathrooms are shared (just like in your everyday hostel) but have the charm of a modern-day boutique hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The pay-as-you-feel food/drinks services were also fantastic (especially if you’re vegan/gf!). The Nuki access point on the front door and room door really made it a breeze for heck-in (right on time too might I add). Thank you again Keep Eco team! Until next time 😉 The highlight of my trip was staying with you! I’ve already recommended you to my friends, they’re super excited to have their own Keep Eco experience!
